Joining and classes
When does my membership start?
Your 6-month semester starts on the 1st of the month with your class. Enroll by the 25th to join the next class. Your pre-semester work opens as soon as you sign up.
What do I do before my class starts?
Work through the pre-semester checklist: the viability screener, uploading your records, confirming your Intent to File, enrolling in VA health care, requesting your C-file and your Condition Viability Call.
What is the Condition Viability Report?
A summary of what your screener and records show, the conditions you could explore, what VA looks for in each, and which lessons apply. You can buy it on its own for $197, and the full amount comes off your membership if you join within 14 days.

What’s included
How do the live sessions work?
Each week focuses on one condition. Send your questions ahead of time or ask them live at the end. Sessions are general education, and every one is recorded.
What is an Evidence Readiness Review?
A monthly one-on-one call where we walk through your latest records together: what they say about your diagnosis, symptoms and connection to service, and how to read them.
Can I get more one-on-one time?
Yes. Extra calls, exam prep and appointment prep sessions are available as add-ons.
Your claim
Do you file my claim for me?
No. We teach you how to build it, and you file it yourself on VA.gov.
Will you tell me what to claim?
We explain how VA rates each condition and what evidence matters. You decide what to claim.
Do you guarantee a rating?
No. VA makes every decision. No one can promise a rating, and our price is never tied to one.
Are you VA accredited?
No. The Veteran School is an education program. Free claim help is available from VA-accredited Veterans Service Organizations, and we’ll tell you how to find one.
Payment and your account
Can I pay over time?
Yes. At checkout you can pay in full or choose Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay.
What if I need to step away?
Every member gets one 30-day pause. Your access pauses with it, and your end date moves out 30 days.
What happens after month 6?
If you’re still waiting on VA, you can stay on month to month at a lower rate.
Can I share my login?
Memberships are for one person. If someone you know wants in, bring them as a buddy and you both save.
